About Occupational Health Doctor
Dr Honor Abaecheta is a senior occupational health physician living and working in East Sussex, and CEO of Occupational Health Doctor.
She trained in London at Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospital and worked as a GP in West London before starting to work in occupational medicine as one of a small group of doctors at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. There she spent 5 years travelling to support British diplomats overseas and reviewing medical facilities in developing countries. She extended her training in occupational health and travel medicine.
Dr Abaecheta worked in the City of London for over 10 years with HCA Ltd. Working with many clients including large city firms such as the American bank Morgan Stanley where she was chief medical officer and other sectors including in the travel industry and oil industry. She is currenly the occupational physician at American Express where she has woked for over 10 years.
Dr Abaecheta also worked as a GP partner and trainer in London before moving to East Sussex.
